For all that Hyundai – and for that matter sister company Kia – have managed to become in the last few years, we need only look towards one car that signposted their potential – the Hyundai Coupe. The U.S. Department of Transportation is looking into whether Toyota Motor Corp.'s problems with unintended acceleration can be traced to defects in the electrical controls rather than just the mechanical problems cited by the automaker, a Transportation official said Tuesday. “We're not finished with Toyota and are continuing to review possible defects and monitor the implementation of the recalls,” Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said in a statement.
Lexus is joining the social teasing party by uploading a darkened, smoky image of the redesigned 2013 Lexus LS sedan. We can't see much, but we do get a sense of the general shape of the car, which looks to be a bit more streamlined than the model it replaces.
